I have bought the Gamakastu live bait circle hooks and attached them to my Spook Jr.... they work great. the problem is after the first use of them.. they are already rusting.. At 6 dollars a pack .. they are a bit pricy and not something you wanna go through!!  I rinsed well water after fishing .. anyone else have these problems and what else can I do to deter this problem.. or is there another brand that does the job better!! thanks for any info.... tight lines!!

Man, that's odd.  I wade with mine in a wet pack all day and they're fine.  I'll check to see exactly which I use.

I use owner hooks on my topwaters and sometimes for bait and I don't have a problem with them rusting, the split rings usually rust way before the hooks do.
