Just about any shimano reels are great. I have a citica and a curado and they have held up great.

I have been fishing saltwater for many years with Shimano reels and have had great success.  However, I break them down and clean, oil and lubricate them at least once a year.  I like the larger frame reels, so I use Calcuttas, but also have several Curados that work great.  Good luck!

If you dont want to spend big bucks, try the higher end Tica or Okuma reels, been using both for inshore reds and trout for about 3 years now, and all are doing great.  Proper maint is the key on any salt water tool Grin

Stick with Shimano. Best reels ever made. I fish several Curado's, a Curados BSF and a Bantam Chronarch. I keep a Calcuta 250 as a backup reel in my tackle bag. Some maintenace required, awesome reels. Wink
