I recently read a report by Cpt. Bruce Shuler on how good the fishing has been underneath the lights. Would appreciate any tips or what type of lure works well to catch those 20 inch plus trout that are being caught right now. Have done that type of fishing in the past but have never real caught anything that big (only for fun to pass time). I've seen those big oh trouts underneath those lights but never seem to go for my lure and believe me I've tried it all  Grin . Thanxz in advance for any advise.

Throw the smallest  jig you can. 3/32 oz. white TINY twist tail. Fish it about 2 to 3 feet below the surface. The better fish will be on the outside edge of the light. If the trout are real active and popping bait on the surface you can throw a SMALL silver or white top water. Another good bait is spec rigs, you can ask most fishing stores and they stock them. Good luck with your fishing.

I have four foot long green light that we hang underneath the boat, it works great, I was just wondering about a good place to use it between Mansfield and the arroyo and what the best conditions would be?

Thanks

Those green lights will work just about any where. If you don't want to go out to the PM jetties I would anchor along the ICW between PM and the Arroya. All that area is good for night fishing. Just be carefull that you do not anchor in the ICW as those barges can't stop and NO need to say what could happen.

I am looking for advice on fishing under the lights in one of the bayhouses that are for rent.  Are there any good fish in those places and what would be the ideal lure or lures to use?
I would greatly appreciate any advice since this is the first time i'll be heading out to PM and do this type of fishing, thank you in advance guys.
