Esflores

If I had to catch a flounder!!! I would start along the ICW just north of Payton’s Shack and fish both the east and west sides. Anchor right along the drop and cast a ¼ oz jig head with a red and white tailed soft plastic into the ditch and drag it back up the side. Slow and slower. Bite will most likely be very soft! I call it a molasses bite, your bait feels like you just started reeling it thru molasses in lieu of water. Any resistance set the hook. If you like bait, I would throw the smallest finger mullet the same place. Hope this helps.

I like 3/4oz egg sinker above a swival with a short leader 8" a 0/3 flounder hook vmc makes them tipped with a finger mullet . cast under or by fishing piers and bring it slow very slow you will feel tap tap on your line let him take it and set the hook.
